Hand off the laundry. Keep your way.
You are out. Someone else is on laundry. The tag on the machine carries your steps, the photo check gives a tick or one fix in the moment, and you hear only what you chose. About a minute and a half, captions on, sound optional.
A sample home. The names on the tag and in the last line are made up; you type your own, or none. Your machine's manual and the care label always come first.
How it works
1. Set it up once
The same three taps that make your cards. Then one more screen: what we check while you are out (just that it is done, the dial and the rack, every step, or your own picks) and what you hear (nothing, one line when it is done, a nightly roundup, only problems). Make the tag yours, plain or with your name, and stick one on the washer and one on the dryer.
2. They scan, follow, snap
Whoever is on laundry scans the tag. Nothing to download, no sign-up. Your steps, in your words. A photo of the dial, and of the rack if there are never-dry things. Right, a green check. Off, one fix, in the moment. Not sure, it asks for one more photo, never a guess. A big-print card on the dryer door covers a helper with no phone.
3. You hear what you chose
One lock-screen line when the load is done, or nothing at all. No call to you. No photo for you to judge. Nothing is sent to anyone but you, and the photos are deleted after the check.
Any dial, even a worn one
Old top-loader, the words rubbed off, dim garage: the check goes by where the pointer sits, not the words. At set-up you take one photo of your own panel with your settings chosen, and that photo is what it compares with. Cannot read it either? It asks the helper which words are still there and offers the common ones to tap. A worn dial is never a fail on its own and never a question to you. The house set includes a printed dial ring sticker for any dial like that.
Stains get their own photo
Still showing after the wash, it says so and keeps the item out of the dryer. Gone, a green check. The before and after photos are compared, never guessed; dryer heat sets a stain, so the dryer step waits.
What it costs
The dryer card is free. The house set with the tags is $15 once. Photo checks are optional: $4 a month or $29 a year, off until you turn them on yourself, never added at checkout, never needed for the cards, the scan pages or the share link. All prices.
What your helper opens from the tag
The helper's own video, as it plays from the washer tag: two photos, each answered in the moment, and it ends on done, nothing to send.
