Shared-machine signs
- A whose-turn sign with the don't-leave-wet-loads rule on it. Print it from this page, write the names in, tape it on the machine; the sign on this page is the real one.
- A link to drop in the group chat so everyone agrees to the rule once; the sign is the thing people actually read.
- A phone card for the shared machine, whatever its panel says.
Free. No account, no email, nothing to pay on this page. Your answers stay on your device.
A sample whose-turn sign, as real text. Yours will say your own cycle names.
WHOSE TURN
One sign, agreed once
- Step 1: Days: Sun and Wed ______. Mon and Thu ______. Tue and Fri ______.Write the names in. Saturday is open.
- Step 2: Washer done? Move it to the dryer the same hour.
- Step 3: A wet load left behind: set it on the shelf, start yours, text the chat.Nobody touches a dry load on the shelf.
- Step 4: Dryer on Low. Clean the lint screen before you leave.
- Step 5: Take your load with you. Nothing lives in the machine.
