Oil and grease family: degrease, then hot wash
How to get hydraulic oil out
Amber-red mineral oil that soaks deep from a burst hose.
Do this first
Blot

- Blot
- Cornstarch or cat litter on heavy spots
- Degreaser or orange hand cleaner worked in
- Dish soap
- Wash hot
Dried or old
- Repeat
- Laundry bar overnight
- Fabric care
- Air dry. High-pressure hydraulic leaks can injure skin: get help if oil got under the skin.
- Time
- 30 min, repeat
- How to tell
- Look: amber or red, translucent; Feel: slick; Smell: oily
