Care Tag Lab

CARE TAG LAB / THE WHY

Can a spill look gone and show up later?

The drink dried without much of a mark. Is that the end of it?

Source review: October 27, 2026. Illustrative pictures; no garment-test claim.

Illustrative clothing example; not a treatment result

Some sugary drink spills can look faint at first and become yellow or brown later. ACI explains that exposure to air can change the residue that was left behind.

That is a reason to say what spilled, even when the item looks nearly clean. It is not a reason to guess from the color of a later mark.

Tell the person doing the laundry what happened. Then use a guide that matches the known cause and actual fabric and product limits.

Use the complete matching guide.
